An early 1970s Zodiac Sea Wolf automatic dive watch with 35mm stainless steel case especially water tested to twenty atmospheres. The dial is outstanding original silver with an outer orange minute track. It has orange and black hands. The movement is automatic Zodiac seventeen jewel with date. This Super Sea Wolf is becoming very popular, and this is one of the more rare dial design and colour schemes. Has the serial number 1891026 at the 6 O’Clock position between the lugs.
The watch is in really good condition. The dial and hands are near mint. The crystal is scratch free. All stainless steel case. The crown is marked Zodiac. When purchased the watch needed the setting tension adjusted.. Hacking feature works well.
According to Zodiac experts, you would find the Zodiac Sea Wolf in almost every dive locker, including the Navy SEALs and the UDT. The Zodiac Sea Wolf is discussed in the book "Military Timepieces" written by Marvin E. Whitney. Watch fully serviced in December 2006. Comes with a stainless steel band.
